Statement of Work

1 SOCES/CED

BSERV Shelter Requirements 12 August 2016

1. SCOPE. This document establishes the minimum requirements for purchase and installation of a BSERV shelter for the 1 SOCED/CED, Hurlburt Field, FL.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to provide, assemble, and install the shelter requested under this Statement of Work.

3. REQUIREMENTS. 1 Building to serve as shelter for BSERV (vehicle)

a. Building dimensions: 22ft width, 46ft roof length, 45ft frame length, 16ft leg height.

b. Two (2) 14ftx14ft role up doors on 22ft sides for BSERV (vehicle) access.

c. Walk in door for with lock and key access.

4. SPECIFICATIONS. Must have lock and key to access building for roll up doors and for vehicle security. Must have two (2) 14ft x 14ft role up doors to accommodate vehicle and ensure easy in and out access for emergency responses. Must be fully enclosed to ensure vehicle, tools, and equipment are protected from rust, corrosion, and damage. Must be professionally installed to ensure safety and building being up to proper code, including being bolted to the ground to a depth of at least 6” into concrete and asphalt in order to sustain up to 130mph winds.

5. COLORS. All colors and finishes will be chosen by 1 SOCES/CED prior to purchase to match the current buildings.

6. SITE SURVEY. Prior to purchase and installation, the contractor shall conduct a walkthrough site survey with 1 SOCES/CED personnel to confirm exact dimensions, specifications, and requirements.

7. PRODUCT INSTALLATION. The contractor shall provide all components, hardware, and parts necessary for proper assembly and installation. The contractor shall be responsible for replacing all missing or defective components, hardware, and/or parts.

a. The contractor shall provide sufficient personnel to complete delivery, installation, and cleanup, unassisted, within five business days, working only during normal business hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The contractor will not work on federal holidays, or other holidays or non-work days observed by the 1 SOCES/CED.

8. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. There will be no government furnished property or services provided for this effort.

9. PRODUCT WARRANTY. The contractor shall provide a warranty on the structure required under this Statement of Work. Defective components and parts shall be repaired or replaced as soon as possible but within a reasonable amount of time, no more than one month. This includes any damage done during shipment, delivery, and installation. Repair and replacement shall be provided at no additional cost, including freight and labor. Normal wear and tear is exempt. The contractor shall repair or replace any damage done to existing facilities during deliver and installation.
