STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS

908Th Airlift Wing

Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-5948

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The 908th Airlift Wing of the United States Air Force (USAF) has a requirement to purchase ten

(10) ATI-ES C130-08930-1000-03 Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Compatible Filter Kits for C- 130 H2 Aircraft. These NVG filter kits will allow the 908th to ensure continued support of operational and training missions requiring utilization of NVG’s as well as ensuring aircrew training currency.

2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

The contractor shall provide at minimum ten (10) ATI-ES C130-08930-1000-03 Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Compatible Filter Kits (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL). This filter kit shall be “Brand Name or Equal”. To be considered “Equal”, the C130 NVG compatible filter kit shall meet the following physical, functional and performance characteristics to be acceptable:

C130 H2 Filter kit shall provide for:

one (1) Altitude Alerter Filter, one (1) Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Gage Filter, two (2) Barometric Altimeters Filters, two (2) Horizontal Situational Indicators (HSI) Filters, two (2) Attitude Directional Indicators (ADI) Filters, and one (1) Nose Wheel Indicator Filter one (1) pelican or equal case for storage of listed filters

Filter construction shall be rigid, non-flexible, and ready for immediate use.

Filters shall fully encase entire instrument indicator, being of fit form and providing for no gaps where non-filtered instrument light can be seen.

Filters shall have 1/8” cushion foam spacer to prevent damage from filter to aircraft or vice versa.

Filters construction shall be matte black, and non-reflective.

Flexible green filter film (AKA “Glendale Green Film”) is not acceptable.

Instrument indicators shall be clearly readable with filter installed.

Filters shall comply with MIL-STD-3009.

One year standard commercial warranty shall be provided.
