Question 1

Who is the incumbent contractor?

- The incumbent contractor is Mid-East Services

Question 2

What is the amount of the current contract?

- The current contract was awarded for a total amount of $2,306,369.00 for both recycling and refuse services. This solicitation is just for refuse services.

Question 3

In reference to paragraph 1.1.1.1.3, are there size and weight limits for the items that the Contractor will be required to pick up. I am concerned about items that are too large and/or too heavy for one person to pickup.

- In reference to paragraph 1.1.1.1.3, There is no weight limit and the contractor is responsible for coordinating the removal of items that end up within the 10 ft radius of the container.

Question 4

In reference to paragraph 3.1, does the "washing area with water" also include electricity in order to use a high pressure washer?

- In reference to paragraph 3.1, There is no electricity and the current hose should provide sufficient pressure for cleaning the containers.

Question 5

In reference to Table A1 of Appendix A, page 16, Note * requires the provision of "200 cardboard containers during the Open House". Does the Government require 200 containers for the collection of cardboard or 200 containers constructed of cardboard? On Table A2-3 on page 22, it states "200 boxes" are required for the Annual Open House. If the Government wants boxes, what are the dimensions? Please explain in more detail.

- Table A1 refers to 200 trash containers constructed of cardboard. The dimensions of the current container used is 15"X15"X30"
