STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
URBAN TERRAIN VEHICLES
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES / GENERAL INFORMATION. The Contractor will manufacture and/or provide 8 urban terrain vehicles to the 341st Training Squadron at JBSA- Lackland, TX.
1.1 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES.
1.1.1 The contractor shall remove and dispose of all packaging materials from the job site daily and ensure all project refuse is removed from JBSA Lackland AFB upon project completion.
1.1.2 The contractor is responsible for any refuse containers needed for trash and packing materials.
1.1.3 No partial shipments will be accepted.
1.2. GENERAL INFORMATION.
1.2.1. Interaction between the contractor and their personnel with military working dog students and all military working dogs is prohibited.
1.2.2. Access to delivery location by large vehicles is restricted to the surrounding roadways.
1.2.3. The contractor is responsible for off-loading items from delivery vehicles and must provide any additional equipment and personnel to accomplish this task.
1.2.4. The contractor shall make delivery using the following gate at the installation:
1.2.4.1. The contractor will enter Medina (Lackland Training Annex), San Antonio, Texas through the Ray Ellison Blvd Gate (contractor’s entrance) located off of Ray Ellison Blvd south of Highway 90. Deliver 7 to Bldg 468.
1.2.4.2. The contractor will enter JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, TX through the Growden Gate (contractor’s entrance) located off Growden Road south of Highway 90. Deliver 1 to Bldg 9225.
1.2.5. Warranty: The Contractor shall warrant that all the equipment manufactured and services furnished by it and covered by this project are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service and, without charge, equipment found to be so defective in material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced, if written notice of failure is received by Contractor within one (1) year after date of installation, provided said equipment has been operated in accordance with Contractor’s instructions and provided such defects are not due to abuse, fire, decomposition by chemical, galvanic action or Acts of God. Contractor shall provide warranty service during normal business hours Monday thru Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
1.3. QUALITY CONTROL.
1.3.1. The contractor shall be responsible for quality control for all work accomplished during the performance of the task.
1.3.2. The contractor shall notify Marie Takeshita (210) 671-3872 or MSgt Steven Kaun (210) 671-2448 upon completion of work for verification and acceptance.
1.4. HOURS OF OPERATION. 7:30 AM - 4:30PM, Monday thru Friday (excluding federal holidays).
1.4.1. Anticipated observed holiday during period of performance: None.
2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES.
2.1. Handler’s Course Building Medina Training Annex
2.1.1. Open lot but may have difficulty maneuvering larger delivery vehicles inside.
