STATEMENT OF WORK
GTX GLASS TRAINER
ADVANCED AVIATION TRAINING DEVICE (AATD)
INSTALL AND TRAINING
318TH TRAINING SQUADRON
JBSA LACKLAND, TX
STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
GTX CESSNA AATD
1. BACKGROUND: The Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) is a training platform to be used for procedural and operational performance tasks related to Garmin G1000 digital avionics maintenance and pilot ground training. Target audience is instrument training pilot students in the armed forces of the Americas.
2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project requires the delivery, set-up, proper operation and training of an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD).
a. Provide all personnel, equipment, tool, materials, supervision to install a GT Glass Trainer AATD Flight Training System
i. Contractor shall provide all incidentals necessary for installation (i.e.
parts, screws, bolts, or required hardware, etc.).
b. Contractor shall provide one 8-hour training session on turn-on and operation procedures to six (6) personnel.
3. LOCATION: The digital simulator shall be installed in room 145 of Bldg 7538 located at 1020 Tinker Street, Bldg 7538, Lackland Air Force Base Texas 78236-5630. Entrance will be coordinated with Mr Douglas Stone at (210) 671-6314 or (207) 522-8380.
4. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Contractor shall complete work 20 days after receipt of contract award. Training will be coordinated with Mr. Douglas Stone at (210) 671-6314 or (207) 522-8380 prior to installation.
5. HOURS OF OPERATION: The work shall be performed during normal duty hours
(7:00 A. M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday).
6. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED SERVICES/EQUIPMENT: Government shall provide work surfaces (as needed) to place simulators onto.
