PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

FOR

SOUND ISOLATION MUSIC PRACTICE MODULES

USAF BAND OF THE WEST, BLDG 7246, JBSA-LACKLAND

28 JUNE 2017

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES / GENERAL INFORMATION. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to deliver and install modular sound isolation music practice rooms to Rooms 107, 110, and 222 of the Band of the West’s newly-renovated facility (Bldg 7246). The modules are free-standing, but must be connected to electrical power, and may be connected directly to fire-suppression to HVAC systems.

1.1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Contractor shall deliver and install three new modules to Rm 222 (approx. 18’x 13’, and two 8’x 6’ booths), and one module each in Rm 107 and Rm 110 (24.5’x19.5’ each). Anchor modules to floor only if required by manufacturer. The new modules in Rm 222 shall have built-in electronic virtual acoustic modeling and digital recording and playback capability.

1.2. GENERAL INFORMATION.

1.2.1.HOURS OF OPERATION. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 0730 through 1630 hrs.
1.2.2.HOLIDAYS OBSERVED. Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, Presidents Day.

1.2.3. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS. Base pass required for access to worksites. No security clearance requirement.

2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. Government shall provide suitable and adequate space in Rms 222, 107, & 110 for installation of new modules. Entry and off-loading to Bldg 7246 shall be through the southeast loading dock or through the double doors on the east side. No elevator in Bldg 9028. Elevator will be on Bldg 7246 premises but it will not support bulky freight loading. Parking is available in south parking lot. Electrical power, working lights, restrooms, heating and air conditioning will be provided.

Final connections to electricity, fire suppression, and HVAC systems for modules in Rm 107 and Rm 110 to be made by the Government. All modules in Rm 222 to be connected by electricity only by the Government (fire suppression and HVAC will be delivered by ambient systems, already in place).
