1. Can the fill material underneath the structures be used for re-grading the site or will new fill material be required? New fill will be required.

2. What procedure is required for decommissioning the monitoring wells? There are no monitoring wells at this site.

3. What is the depth of the well? There are no monitoring wells at this site.

4. Monitoring wells are typically used for hazardous waste - please confirm the wells do not contain any hazardous waste. There are no monitoring wells at this site.

5. Will the trees to be protected be identified by the base? There are no protected trees outlined at this site.

6. What procedure is required to protect the trees? There are no protected trees outlined at this site.

7. Is there any medical or chemical hazardous waste on site? No.

8. Can the fill material beneath the AAFES Warehouse be utilized as fill material for the job? No.

9. Is there a base fluorescent bulb program? Yes. Fluorescent bulbs will be dropped off at CE Environmental for recycling every Tuesday.

10. Is there a size limit on the trucks to be transporting equipment and waste across the Base? No.

11. Will alternate gates be available if any events held by the city block or slow the main route?

Contractor trucks and equipment shall enter base through the contractor gate. If route is blocked, alternative gate entry will be arranged by the base.

12. Will there be any weight restrictions on trucks traveling through the Base? Standard urban weight restrictions.

13. Is rail a possibility for transportation of waste? No.

14. Is a formal dust control plan required? Yes. Contractor may use nearby hydrant for dust control but must use backflow preventer and completely shut off valve with each use.

15. Would the contractor or Vectrus/CEV be responsible to write the dust control plan? Contractor

16. Are there any underground tanks within 200 feet of the demolition site perimeter or within the perimeter? No.

17. What are the tree and shrub preservation requirements? There are none required for this project.

18. What volume and pressure of water is available to water the sod with? Keesler water pressure is typically 40 - 70 psi.

19. Is there currently a connection to the water system that can be used? Contractor may use nearby hydrant.

20. Will the 60 day watering period be extendable beyond the performance period? Yes.

21. If it is able to pass the performance period, who will be responsible to mow the new sod during the watering period? Contractor.

22. Was this building or the site used as anything other than an AAFES warehouse in the past? If so, what? No.

23. Were there ever any recordable or known spills of any kind on any part of this demolition site in the past? No.

24. Were hazardous or radioactive materials of any kind ever stored on this site? No.

25. Has plumbing/drain piping been included in any environmental testing? No.

26. Was mercury, and other heavy metals, included in the environmental testing? No.

27. Is there any possibility of contaminates inside plumbing piping? No.

28. Are there original architectural drawings and/or site plans of the building, including any additions or modifications, available? No.

29. Who is responsible for all underground locates of the entire demolition site and surrounding area?

Vectrus and City Light and Power (CLP) will locate utilities before demolition

30. Has a ground penetrating radar analysis been performed, including under the road, on the entire site? If so, are the results available? No.

31. Is the depth of the existing utilities shown on the plans available? No.

32. Will plumbing pipes require sealing of each section as they are removed? No.

33. Will expanding foam installed in the pipes before demolition act as an acceptable seal? Yes.

34. Are complete mechanical and electrical drawings available for the entire building? No.

35. Who is responsible to assure ALL alarms, monitoring systems, surveillance equipment, fiber optic cables, power systems, fuel systems, control systems and communication systems are completely disconnected and inoperable at the time of demolition start-up? Contractor. Fiber and all communication cables will be removed by COMM.

36. If contractor is responsible, will anything outside of the demolition sight be possibly affected or tripped due to anything within the demolition area? No.

37. Are there any special concerns as to protecting greenery not included in the scope of work for removal? No.

38. Will the contractor be responsible for plants dying as a result of roots being damaged that encroach upon the demolition site? No.

39. Is any demolition on the site on railroad property? Will this require additional permitting? No.

40. Does anything left in the building contain radioactive particles and was it tested for radioactivity?

No.

41. Who will be responsible to terminate the fire main prior to demolition? Contractor.

42. Will all waste container contents need to be tested before leaving the Base? If so, how long will the contents be allowed to sit on Base to allow for testing? Who will be responsible for the testing? No waste containers sans asbestos abatement will need testing for this project.

43. Is there backflow prevention on the sewer or will we need to install those before demolition?

Sewer for this building is a gravity main. No backflow prevention is required.

44. Will any operations on the base slow, halt or hinder the demolition and waste removal process besides the Special Olympics? If so, what will the duration of these activities be? Will there possibly be alternate routes to move materials and minimize delays? No. 81 CONS will notify contractor of any unforeseen activity on base that will affect demolition. Any time or material delays will be noted, and alternate route, if needed due to road closures, will be provided at this time.
