QUESTIONS/ANSWERS FOR SURREY BUS SOLICITATION #FA2860-14-T-0001

1. Do you have photos of the graphics required? ANSWER: The attached photos are of a different vehicle with the exact same trim

2. Does Andrews AFB have a current graphics company that we can use to comply with the specifications? ANSWER: We do not have a preferred graphics vendor

3. Does Andrews AFB have access to CNG or Propane fueling stations if we propose these AFV's? ANSWER: All of our vehicles run off of MOGAS or Diesel, so we don't currently have access to CNG or propane

4. Does Andrews AFB have a preferred service vendor we can contact for maintenance? ANSWER: We do not have a preferred MX vendor

5. Due to the start date of this contract of January 1st, 2014, substitute buses maybe needed to ensure buses at the start of the contract would that be acceptable while the other buses are being built? If so is perimeter seating required on these substitute buses? ANSWER: We could do without perimeter seating for temporary buses, but would like to have some sort of luggage storage

6. In the general requirements 2.1.2 Driver Vision Package is the front passenger door required or can it be deleted to allow for one large passenger entry door (Note mirrors will still be on both sides of the vehicle as required)? ANSWER: Driver must have separate door, however the door for passengers to enter seating area can be on either side of the vehicle

7. Are adjustable pedals a required option or are vehicles without this option going to be acceptable? ANSWER: Not required as long as the seat can be adjusted to accommodate members of different heights

8. The Master Cut-Off Switch located above the driver needs to just control electric to the body items and not the entire vehicle correct? ANSWER: Correct

9. The solicitation does not specify which side the passenger entrance door should be on. The current contract has it on the driver side. Can you confirm which side you want the passenger entrance door on for the new contract? ANSWER: The passenger entrance door can be on either side of the vehicle
