Q&A
1. CLIN 0001 has a “QTY 1 EA” requested for the camera, lenses, calibration, and ND1 filter (required for the calibration), however, the salient requirement “j” states that the camera must include factory calibrations for each lens. This would require a quote with qty 3 calibrations instead of qty 1. Is it acceptable to respond with a quote for QTY 3 CALSW-ND1 to meet the intended calibrations with each lens? Yes
a. A Calibration part-number (CALSW-ND1) is required for each lens. Since there are 3 lenses listed (16 mm, 25 mm, and 50 mm) there should be qty 3 CALSW-ND1.
b. CLIN 0001 – QTY 1 EA.
i. Infrared Imager FLIR 6261 InGaAs PN: 29437‐261
ii. Lens 16mm lens, 0.9‐1.7μm, f/1.4, c‐mount (A6261sc SWIR), PN: 4142573
iii. Lens 25mm lens, 0.9‐1.7μm, f/1.4, c‐mount (A6261sc SWIR), PN: 4142572
iv. Lens 50mm lens, 0.9‐1.7μm, f/1.8, c‐mount (A6261sc SWIR), PN: 4142569
v. ND1 SWIR 900‐1700nm Thermographic Calibration for +400°C to +1200°C (A6261sc Only), PN: CALSW‐ND1 **Should be QTY 3, one CALSW-ND1 per lens.**
vi. ND 1.0 (SWIR Filter Assembly), PN: 4211061 It lists Base Camera and Lenses, as well as, “OPTION Year 1- From date of award through 365 days Camera and Lenses”
c. This appears to be two more identically configured cameras and lens/calibrations
d. Should these two cameras, etc be quoted separately from the Base Camera and Lenses for a total of two quotes in the response (Quote 1 for parts listed in “Base Camera and Lenses”, Quote 2 for parts listed in “OPTION Year…”) Options should be listed as the base purchase is with camera, lenses, and calibrations.
2. Is it a framing camera or line scanner? Framing
3. Does the camera need to be calibrated for the 0.9um to 1.7um range or just the 400-1200? The camera may not have capabilities to read down to 400nm is requesting 900-1700nm.
Calibrated band is 0.9um – 1.7um from 400-1200 degrees Celsius.
4. Is there a maximum frame rate desired? 120 Hz
5. Will the camera be deployed on a UAV or remote vehicle of any type? No
