STATEMENT OF WORK
EGLIN AFB 96th MEDICAL GROUP (96MDG) RECORDS ROOM
PROVIDE HIGH DENSITY MOBILE AISLE FILING
23 February 2018
Company will remove existing shelving from Eglin Hospital (Building 2825) room 4N005 within Eglin hospital and transport items off premise for recycling/reuse. Company will relocate all existing files, approximately 50,000 folders, located in Bldg. 2825, from room 4N005 to room 1F078, where the newly installed shelving units will be erected. Delivery and installation of the high density filing system’s specification are listed below.
Further, to accommodate the transition 3 desks will be moved along with the files to the first floor records room. Must be dismantled upstairs, moved to the first floor and rebuilt there.

Ceiling height 7’ 11.25”
Overall unit height: 82.331”
76” uprights
4-post shelving
5-tier
Track levelers with ¾” adjustment OR laser leveled
Upper system 7,623 linear ft
Lower system 8,240 linear ft
4 dividers per shelf
Carpeted decking (24”x24” carpet tiles will be provided; adhesive will not)
Sliding track
ADA/Incline ramp
3-prong star handle with red safety occupancy indicator
Must be able to move 10,000 lbs per 1 lb of effort
Built-in anti-tip mechanism
Each carriage must be able to support up to 8,000 lbs
Continuous drive shaft a 7:1 or 10:1 gear ratio is acceptable rail joints may be staggered
