SUBJECT: Technical Requirements Document (TRD) for Digital Recorder System

1. The organization has a requirement for a Digital Recorder System conforming to the following description and specifications.

The Digital Recorder System will be integrated into the Seeker Test Van (STV). The system shall be capable of simultaneously recording a large number of analog signals along with multiple video signals and GPS/IRIG time.

Signal digitii.ation shall occur at the seeker location and be transmitted via fiber optic or Ethernet link to recorder(s) located inside the STV. The system shall allow multiple custom display views to be setup and independently saved and have the ability to select a number of display views for simultaneous output to separate video monitors. Display view setups shall allow selected signals to be displayed synchronously with the video and time display in both real-time and playback. A cursor within the signals display shall correlate the specific data point to the displayed time and video frame. The system shall offer math and digital filtering functions. The system shall provide earphone reproduction of any selected recorded signal. The system shall provide alarm output capability for customer configured signal parameters. All units shall be ruggedized against shock and vibration. All recording devices shall have removable storage medium. Digitizing electronics shall be modular, expandable, field replaceable, and factory repairable. The entire system shall be parts and labor warranted for 1 year from date of delivery.

Delivery date shall be no more than 90 days from order date.

Specifications: (all items are minimum requirement)

1. Number of input analog input signals: 192

2. Sampling rate: 200kS/s per channel

3. Digital resolution: 16 bits

4. Analog input voltage range: programmable/selectable from ±0.5V to ±50V

5. Channel to channel isolation: lOOOV

6. Distance of digital transmission: 125 ft

7. Number of video inputs: 4

8. Number of simultaneous monitor outputs: 4

9. Video resolution: 1280 x 720

10. Video format: SDI, Firewire, HDMI, or Ethernet

11. Video frame rate: 30/sec

12. Number of software selectable saved display views: 8

13. Operating temperature: 0-50°C

14. Operating humidity: 90% relative humidity

15. Operating vibration: EN 60068-2-6 sine, EN 60028-2-27 shock, EN 60721-3-2 random

Software shall be provided to allow basic setup and record/playback operation. Playback software license shall allow free distribution to government customers for viewing of the customers' recordings on a standard desktop computer.
