Description
The 50th Contracting Squadron is seeking potential EDWOSB sources interested in proposing on an anticipated acquisition that includes all contractor supplied management, design, labor, equipment, and materials to produce a code compliant replacement for two old 750kVA oil cooled primary step-down power pad mounted transformers that supply power to B420 ( the base water pump house). Both old transformers are installed on concrete pads, conduit, and duct-banks that need to be replaced in order to fit the new (already on-site) GFE replacement transformers. The new pad mounted transformers are each dead-front 750kVA Cooper
Industries with specifications and drawings supplied. The contractor shall be required to design
(base/duct-bank/grounding/cabling/tap selection/civil underground cable routing/code compliance/scheduling/safety/contaminated (non-PCP) soil removal), install, and commissioning of the two new transformers.
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified EDWOSB sources. The anticipated contract type will be Firm Fixed Price with a magnitude between
$100,000 to $250,000. Work to be performed under the contract will be within the North
American Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210 – Electrical Contractors.
If you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies:
1. Relevant past performance with evidence of similar work completed in the past three years, to include dollar value.
2. Bonding limits of your firm.
3. Point of contact including phone number, physical address and e-mail address.
4. Size status and/or SBA certification program of your economically disadvantaged women owned small business.
5. Positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
