Questions and Answers FA252117QB059

Q: The solicitation refers to the WSR radar. Does this mean the 10 cm radar at KMLB? And/or does it mean the 5 cm radar at Patrick AFB?

A: WSR refers to the Weather Surveillance Radar, the 5 cm radar used exclusively by 45 WS. The WSR is located in the southeast corner of Orange County approximately 23 nmi west‐southwest of the launch pads on CCAFS/KSC, not at Patrick AFB as suggested in thequestion.
