1.1. Performance Requirements
1.1.1 General: This is a requirement to install new airfield camera that will interface fully with current airfield management (base operations) camera system in Bldg 122. The current system has video surveillance of the airfield but only has 75% coverage. There are a number of areas not under surveillance which must be added: Gate 9 in the 302 Air Wing area, Gate 1 on the flight line and enhance coverage of the ADACG ramp located several miles from the Peterson Ramp but is visible. Surveillance of the airfield is vital for the Security Forces and the Colorado Springs Regional Command Post (CSRCP) for a 24-hour period due to limited manning of security forces patrolling the airfield and CSRCP not having any visual of airfield operating procedures. Airfield Management is not a 24 hours operating facility and will need these agencies on board to properly sustain security and monitor airfield operations.

- Plan Installation and Purchase Materials.
- Coordinate with Site for details of installation and downtime on existing CCTV system.
- Prepare Cameras, and communications to interface with Recorder and Cameras.
- Install sufficient cameras for surveillance of Gate 1 & 10 and the ADACG ramp.
- Install transmitters and receivers to support ADACG ramp coverage.
- Test, train and turn over new cameras and recorder.
- Maintenance contract for at least three years for system.
1.1.3 Specific Tasks Required: The Contractor shall install new cameras that can show entrance to the gate 1, 10 and the ADACG ramp. This will give 21st OSS greater visibility to aircraft during Inflight/Ground Emergencies and aircraft remaining overnight on ramp.
