STATEMENT OF WORK

ORACLE DATABASE TRAINING

11 JUNE 2014

1.0 Requirements

1.1 The contractor shall provide 10 days of classroom Oracle Database 11g training for 16 government personnel. The contractors shall be Authorized Oracle University Partners and authorized by Oracle to deliver Oracle training.

1.2 Oracle Database 11g – Administration Workshop I: Training shall include a firm foundation in basic database administration, including how to install and maintain an Oracle database, architecture and how the database components work and interact.

1.3 Oracle Database 11g – Administration Workshop II: Training shall include instructions for backup and recovery, and understanding of how to diagnose and repair data failures, and how to manage major database components like memory, performance and resources using Oracle Database 11g.

1.4 Oracle Database 11g – Performance Tuning DBA: Training shall describe Oracle tuning methodology and utilization of Oracle tools for monitoring and diagnosing SQL and Instance tuning issues.

2.0 The Government will provide a classroom for training in Building 905 at Robins AFB, GA.

The room number will be provided after award.

3.0 Other Requirements/General Information

3.1 Access to Government Facility: The Contractor shall ensure Contractor personnel who require access to a Government facility comply with the security requirements of the facility.

Contractor personnel will be escorted by government personnel.

3.2 Green Procurement Program (GPP)

3.2.1 Under Secretary of Defense (USD) Memorandum, Establishment of the DoD Green Procurement Program, dated August 27 2004, establishes the requirement for a GPP. The GPP is a mandatory federal acquisition program that focuses on the purchase and use of environmentally-preferable products and services. In accordance with FAR 23.404, Agency Affirmative Procurement Programs, the GPP requires 100% of purchases of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-designated products, included in the Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) list, contain recovered materials unless the item cannot be acquired competitively within a reasonable timeframe, meet appropriate performance standards, and/or be acquired at a reasonable price. In accordance with FAR 23.101, Sustainable Acquisition Policy / Definition, the GPP requirement applies to all acquisitions, including services, using U.S.

Government appropriated funds.

3.3 Safety and Health Plan

3.3.1 The Contractor shall submit a Safety & Health Plan NLT 5 days after award of the contract for review and acceptance by 78 ABW/SEG (Safety Office). The contractor shall establish and maintain a safety and health program in accordance with the elements listed in the Appendix C (Safety Requirements). The contractor shall ensure their Safety & Health plan addresses, in detail, the items listed in Appendix C. CDRL A001, Industrial Safety and Health Plan

3.4 Mishap Notification

3.4.1 The contractor shall notify the Installation Safety Office telephonically at (478)-926-6271 during duty hours and (478)-327-2612 after hours, within four (4) hours after initial notification of all mishaps or incidents for damage to DoD property (material plus labor) entrusted by this contract and employee injuries as a result of the contract operation. A follow-up (written or e-mail) of this mishap/incident notification shall be sent within three calendar days to the Government Representative, the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) or the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) (with a copy to program manager), who will forward it to the Installation Safety Office. The information that is not available at the time of the initial notification shall be provided within 20 calendar days after the mishap. CDRL A002, Mishap Notification Report

3.4.2 Mishap notifications shall contain, at a minimum, the following information:

1) Contract, Contract Number, Name and Title of Person(s) Reporting

2) Date, time and exact location of accident/incident

3) Brief narrative of accident/incident (Events leading to accident/incident)

4) Cause of accident/incident, if known

5) Estimated cost of accident/incident (material and labor to repair/replace)

6) Nomenclature of equipment and personnel involved in accident/incident

7) Corrective actions (taken or proposed)

8) Other pertinent information
