Provide a brief non-technical description of the supplies/services to be acquired: Advantor SFXI Server ID Access Control Suite V6.2. This badging/monitoring station enables allows the Welcome Center to issue AF Form 1199C's for access to Restricted/Controlled areas on Holloman AFB. The badging/monitoring will be utilized by 49 SFS/S5AV for all issued/destroyed AF Form 1199C's actively in circulation on Holloman AFB. Estimated cost: $24,001.51
Text14: Advantor Systems is the main hardware/software utilized by USAF, in Badge issuing as well as intrusion detection systems.

There are other agencies that provide USAF authorized badging/monitoring systems. However, these systems will not operate in conjunction with the current installed Advantor Systems Badging/Monitoring Station. Replacement of the Badging/Monitoring Station with another system woufbold entail a complete re-programming, re-configuring and may need to create new badging templates. New badging templates other than the AF Form 1199C may result in a costly mass re-issue to all badge holders on Holloman AFB.

Text15: The Advantor SFXI Server ID Access Control Suite V6.2 has proprietary software and programming. Competitive systems contain proprietary software and programming but cannot operate in conjunction with currently installed Advantor Intrusion Detection Suite V6.2. This system, in the event a catastrophic failure, this system has the capability to monitor installation IDS, competitive systems cannot.
Text16: This office will continue to monitor and research developing technologies for a more cost effective and capable system for possible future replacement.
