Performance Work Statement February 8, 2016 The contractor shall, as an independent agent and not as an employee of the government, provide all materials, equipment, and labor, unless otherwise stated as government provided, furnish refuse collection and removal services at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, located approximately 12 miles northwest of Cache, Oklahoma. Service is required for the fiscal year 2016 beginning May 1, 2016, ending April 30, 2017, and if options are exercised for four (4) additional fiscal years (May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018; May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019; May 1, 2019 through 2020; and May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021).

1) The contractor shall provide all metal containers, which will be front load six (6) cubic yard non-stackable slant containers, with automatic locking/release poly-lids.

2) All materials collected from containers must be removed from the refuge lands.

3) Container lids must be closed after each container is dumped.

4) Containers will be emptied on Tuesday of each week between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

5) All waste material in the general area of the containers, or which spills out of the containers during dumping, will be picked up.

6) Containers with damage or broken lids, rusted out bottoms, etc., or in need of maintenance will be repaired within (1) week after the damage is noted or the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) notifies the contractor.

7) All containers will be steam cleaned and painted during the period of December 1st through March 28th, and at other times deemed necessary by the COTR. The containers will be painted. Painting and steam cleaning will not be allowed on the refuge property.

8) All containers will be maintained and placed in locations designated by the COTR.

9) All gates opened by the contractor or his/her employees shall be closed/locked when leaving each site.

10) Government furnished property under this contract will consist of Government keys issued.
