Statement of Work
The United States Government requires the purchase of an 18' Smith-Root electrofishing vessel complete with trailer, generator, and engine. The electrofishing vessel must be effective in medium-duty operations and withstand conditions found in and around the Great Lakes and surrounding tributaries.
The salient characteristics of this vessel are as follows:
7.5 GPP
U.S. Coast guard and EPA Certified Marine Grade Enclosed Kohler GPP Generator Electrofishing Booms with SAA-6 Anode Arrays Cathode Array Fish Livewell with:
-circulation system -high volume, fresh water pump with screened intake -secondary pump and water circulation system with an aerating dome -full interior lighting for night operation
Hull with:
-closed cell spray-in flotation
Forward Work Deck with:
-safety railings -built-in foot switches -locking front storage
LED Light Package with:
-adjustable work lights -adjustable head lights -deck lights -navigation lights -adjustable stem lights
Battery charging System Steering and Control Console with:
-wheel steering -side mounted outboard controls -fuel gauge -12 VDC acc. power plugs -hours meter -dual electric horns -shatterproof windshield -depth finder -voltmeter -battery switch -heavy-duty canvas console cover
Fire Extinguisher Engine Jack-Plate
4-Stroke 90 hp outboard engine
To effectively work in desired conditions, technical specifications must conform to:
Length: 18 ft.
Beam: 80 in.
Side Height: 28 in.
Transom Height: 25 in.
Aluminum Gauge: 0.125 in. (Bottom); 0.10 in. (Side)
Weight(1): 2,080 lb.
Draft (2): 5in (506 lb./in
Max. Payload (3): 1,650 lb.
Livewell Capacity: 74 gal.
