1. THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE FURNISHED FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF:

4. THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS/STANDARDS, ETC., WILL BE USED IN LIEU OF THE DATA INDICATED. THE

SUPERSEDED DATA WILL NOT BE FURNISHED UNLESS SO INDICATED.

5. THE SOURCES/MATERIALS IF LISTED ON THE SPECIFICATION, STANDARDS AND DRAWINGS ARE THE ONLY

SOURCES/MATERIALS FOR THOSE ITEMS. ANY SUBSTITUTIONS SHALL HAVE PRIOR APPROVAL BY THE COGNIZANT

ENGINEERING ACTIVITY.

6. UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION (UID) SHALL BE APPLIED PER MIL-STD-130 IN LIEU OF FPS-3008.

A. Minimum 1/8th inch on Human readable to include:

1. CAGE (17V)

2. P/N (1P)

3. Serial Number (1S)

B. Minimum 1/4 inch square on Machine Readable 2D Matrix – construct 2 – to include

1. CAGE (17V)

2. P/N (1P)

3. Serial Number (1S)

C. Label shall contain all data on existing label, if existing label is to be replaced.

D. Same Label Material shall be used as specified in drawing for existing label.

E. MIL-STD-130, ANSI/AIM BCII, ISO 15434, ISO 15415, and ISO 15418

7. IF DEVIATIONS FROM THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE REQUIRED OR DESIRED, PERMISSION FROM GOVERNMENT

ENGINEER IS REQUIRED.

8. 16PR100 IS NOT REQUIRED FOR MANUFACTURE.

9. 16PR006 WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. REFER TO IGES DATA NUMBERS 16B6566-21, 16B6592-815, 16B6898-17 AND

16B6897-17.

10. MATERIAL ALUMINUM ALLOY FORGINGS PER SAE AMS-QQ-A-367 IN LIEU OF QQ-A-367.

11. MATERIAL ALUMINUM ALLOY 2024 PER SAE AMS-QQ-A-250/4 IN LIEU OF QQ-A-250/4.
