NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS

RE: MT BLM W 2510(1)

Ruby Creek Road and Day Use Facility Solicitation No. DTFH70-14-B-00014

The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective Bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during fall as conditions permit. After October 31, 2014 access will be weather dependent; contact the Bureau of Land Management for current road conditions at 406-683-8000. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for show-me tours.

Multiple Bid Schedules - The work will be solicited under multiple alternate schedules, with different amounts of work in each schedule. One schedule will be awarded. See the Project Description document for additional details.

Schedule A consists of all roadway work on Ruby Creek Road.

Schedule B consists of all the work in Schedule A and work at Ruby Creek Day Use

Facility.

Schedule C consists of all the work in Schedule A, Schedule B and work at Ruby Creek

Campground.

Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located in Madison County, Montana on BLM property, approximately 18 miles south of Ennis, Montana.

Ruby Creek Road o From Johnny Ridge Road to the Ruby Creek Boat Day Use Facility (approx. 2.9 miles) - Work on this this segment consists of grading, minor drainage, base, paving and cattle guards.

Ruby Creek Campground – Work consists of re-gravelling the existing campground loop roads (0.6 miles).

Ruby Creek Day Use Facility – work includes a boat ramp, waterline, grading, base rock, aggregate surfacing and minor clearing and grubbing.
