Solicitation # DTFH61-10-R-00008 Amendment # 00002

This amendment addresses questions received in response to the Solicitation and provides answers to those questions.

1. Can you tell me if the invoices must be issued as each milestone is achieved?

Answer: As each milestone is achieved and the milestone deliverable is accepted the contractor may invoice the government for the price established for that CLIN

2. Are the invoices only paid net 30 for this solicitation?

Answer: The Government will evaluate any price discounts offered. However, it is the government’s practice to attempt to make payments on all proper invoices received within 30 days.

3. Is there any allowance for money down on each order?

Answer: NO

4. After Solicitation # DTFH61-10-R-00008 closes on March 16th, can you approximate the time in days or weeks that would be needed for the award of contracts?

Answer: NO. It is not possible to determine how long each review cycle will take, but a good estimate is about 90 days thereafter.

5. Will CLIN 1.0 thru CLIN 9.0 be looked at individually and awarded on an individual basis?

Answer: CLIN 1.0 through 9.0 may be awarded on an individual basis. For example, we may select one manufacturer for CLIN 1.0 and another manufacturer for CLINs 2.0 - 9.0. Or we may select one manufacturer for CLINs 1.0 - 4.0 and another manufacturer for CLINs 5.0 - 9.0. We may also award ALL CLINs to one manufacturer.

6. Will all of the awards be made at the same time?

Answer: We expect that all of the awards will be made at the same time; however we may choose to make the awards at different times if necessary.
