DOL-OPS-15-R-00026- Questions

Question
Answer

Is it an option to replace the phone system? The RFP states that there will be a need for replacement IP phones and headsets, but I am not sure if this means as a part of a maintenance agreement on the current system or if you would be open to a new phone system.

This is not an option to replace the phone system. This is for support of the current system supported by Interactive Intelligence.

Can you send me more details about the above mentioned solicitation please? I would like to participate in the bidding process and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

All of the details pertaining to this solicitation have been posted; no other details will be posted.

In the supplied Schedule B, the estimated hours in the Option Years for designated Key Personnel labor categories decreases significantly and provides an indication that Key Personnel requirements will be reduced after the Base Year. The SOW states in Section C.4.1 (2) “Contractor shall not reassign or replace any Key Personnel for twenty-four (24) months after his or her designation as Key Personnel”. Does the Government intend on reducing the Key Personnel requirements after the Base Year?
The government anticipates needing a greater number of hours at the beginning of the contract due to transition and ramp-up.
In the Statement of Work, C.5 Management Requirements has subheadings C.6.9, C.6.9.1, C.6.10. Should we assume it should be numbered as C.5.9, C5.9.1, and C.5.10?
Yes
In the Instructions, Section B. Files states: Electronic proposals shall be submitted in three separate volumes (separate PDF files) and attachments, as outlined above in Proposal Submission. Did the government intend to state five separate volumes, or do you want us to combine Volumes? If so, which volumes?
The government intended to state FIVE (5) separate volumes.
In the Instructions, Section C. Page Count, indicates that “ Volume II – Past Performance” is limited to “Questionnaire NTE 8 pages (excluding POC list)”. Section E, Content Requirements, states each volume shall consist of a Title Page, Table of Contents, Executive Summary (Volumes I &V), and the Narrative discussion. Are the Title Page and Table of Contents excluded from page count for this volume?
Yes, the title page and table of contents are excluded from the page count for all volumes.
In the Instructions, Section C. Page Count, indicates that “ Volume IV – Copy of Elite Partnership Certificate” is limited to 1 page. Section E, Content Requirements, states each volume shall consist of a Title Page, Table of Contents, Executive Summary (Volumes I &V), and the Narrative discussion. Can we assume that the Title Page and Table of Contents are excluded from page count and a narrative discussion is not required.
Yes, they are excluded; no narrative discussion is required for Volume IV.
In the Instructions, Section C, Page Count, states If there are more than forty-five (45) lines of text on any page, the sum of the additional lines will be removed from back to front of the particular volume or attachment and will not be reviewed and/or evaluated. Please confirm that the lines of text in the header and footer are excluded from the per page line count.
Lines of text in the header and footer will be excluded from the per page line count.
