DATA RESTORATION AND MIGRATION SERVICES for EOIR lron Mountain will provide DLT and LTO tape restoration and flle server data extraction on an ad-hoc basis as part of a Restoration Assurance Program.
Government will deliver HP Enterprise Data Protector (EDP) catalogs to lron Mountain.
lron Mountain will review the catalogs for quality control, and confirm that tape counts match those provided by the Customer.
EOIR will submit a data request form detailing the data that is to be restored from tape.
lron Mountain will identify the data required for restoration.
lron Mountain will inform EOIR which tapes need to be delivered to lron Mountain.
EOIR will submit a variable number of legacy backup tapes, containing email and flle server backup sessions.
Tape types: DLT and LTO backup tapes.
Assumption: Tapes are not encrypted.
Backup software: HP Data Protector.
Assumption: No NDMP, BKF, or equivalent double backups.
lron Mountain will inventory all media received, and provlde an inventory reporuchain of custody to EOIR.
For fileserver and Microsoft Exchange data restoration:
EOIR will specify the targeted data to be restored.
Iron Mountain will restore all applicable flat file databases and file server data from tape.
Work may be performed by qualified personnel from an lron Mountain partner. lron Mountain will maintain responsibility for all work performed.
