About this file

This Overhaul Description details a Circuit Card Assembly (Part Number MZ2A-101-0-11) contract opportunity for the U.S. Coast Guard. The document describes a core exchange program for circuit boards used in HVAC systems on 87' WPB vessels, where boards are no longer manufactured and only some remanufactured units are available. Pritchett Controls has obtained programming information and will preprogram the boards. The primary source of work is Ensil Technologies in Niagara Falls, NY, with a cost estimate not to exceed $2,250.

The solicitation requires strict packaging specifications, including electrostatic discharge protective wrapping and marking per MIL-STD standards. Each circuit card assembly must be individually packaged in a wooden box with specific labeling requirements. Government acceptance will occur at destination, contingent upon verification of no transit damage, order completeness, and compliance with packaging/marking standards. The contractor must provide a standard manufacturer's warranty and guarantee the item against defects for a period after installation, with the item intended for inventory rather than immediate installation.
