Description of the Item or Service.

The Teledyne ISCO Chromatography product line includes instruments and accessories for the purification of organic compounds in normal-phase and reversed-phase separations, and for bio-purification of proteins, peptides, and other biopolymers. Their CombiFlash NextGen line of systems takes the guesswork out of your purifications and increases productivity whether you are purifying synthetic compounds, natural products, peptides, or polymers. The Antiviral Program for Pandemics (APP) aims to develop safe and effective antivirals to combat SARS-CoV-2. APP will accelerate the development of a portfolio of promising antivirals that can quickly pivot to combat future pandemics.

Having safe and effective oral antiviral candidates ready for deployment in later-stage clinical trials against a newly emergent virus would save lives, reduce serious illness and prevent overwhelming surges in hospitalizations during a viral outbreak or pandemic. These chromatography instruments will help the APP group develop potential candidates against future pandemic threats by aiding in the purification of potential lead compounds to be tested in biological assays, as well as in vivo animal efficacy models.
