Repair Building 104, Hangar Door Government Responses to Industry Questions

1. Is the standard Bid Form?

· Standard Form 1442

2. Can you provide the structural plans, as built and any other plans you have for the Hangar?

· Provided

3. Will cranes and any other lifting equipment need FAA approval and certification?

· FAA notification, via airfield manager before lifting the crane boom is required.

4. Will the contractor be allowed to cross past the red line in the runway for equipment placement?

· Clear zone will be established as needed

5. What miles per hour does the new rolling door need to meet?

· Applicable building codes, federal and state.

6. What material does the new bollards need to be? (stainless steel, steel, aluminum).

· Galvanized Steel or aluminum concrete filled

7. Will the louvers be replaced or repair?

· Replaced

8. Will there be an opportunity to ask questions regarding the structural plans after they are posted?
