This solicitation CNSQMSCPR0624 is modified to provide detail for Disaster Relief Training as required by the statement of work:
Disaster relief training shall include all costs associated with the following subcategories: CPR, Mass Care, Shelter and simulation.
CPR and First Aid: Contractor shall provide participants with first aid training instructions on how to recognize and respond to individuals who have experienced injury or trauma, including basic illness and injury treatment, and intermediary care for serious or life threatening situations. In addition to general injury identification and treatment, Contractor shall provide specific instructions on how to assist individuals who are choking, stop breathing, or experience signs of shock. Training shall include a skill competency assessment and offer skill certification certificates valid for a minimum of one year. Must be accepted by the American Red Cross.
Mass Care Training: Contractor shall instruct participants on how to care for and feed large numbers of impacted citizens, collect donated materials, etc.
Shelter Operations and Shelter Simulation training: Contractor shall instruct participants on how to set up, operate emergency shelters and close shelters. Participants shall be able to describe the procedures for opening, operating, and closing shelters.
