Solicitation Number 140L3922Q0019 Pete Neece/Mallory Mastication Questions & Answers

Q1) Are site visits able to be scheduled?

A1) Site visits are not being scheduled for the project. If more specific directions to the site are needed, we can provide them, but the maps are all geo-referenced and should be good for navigation.

Q2) Do you know if the terrain is clear or are there rock beds?

A2) Terrain may have some snow coverage right now. There are no rock beds, but may encounter a few larger rocks. Statement of Work, page 1, Section B. Work Layout states: “Some larger rocks are within the units but are minimal.”

Q3) Out of curiosity why is there a break from April to July?

A3) Statement of Work, page 2, Section D, Environmental Restrictions states: “Due to timing restrictions for sensitive resources, mastication will not occur from April 15 to July 15.” This is due to migratory bird nesting protection requirements.
