CERTIFICATION FOR THE USE OF NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS CORP. T-38 AND F-5 ENGINEERING
DATA JEDMICS REMOTE USERS
The United States Government, Department of the Air Force and Northrop Grumman Systems Corp.
have entered into a License agreement, F41608-99-D-0206-QP40, which specifies the rights and obligations of the Government regarding use of engineering data pertaining to the T-38 Aircraft. A similar agreement was signed 2005 DEC 20 regarding the use of engineering data pertaining to the F-5
Aircraft.
Retrieval of Northrop Grumman T-38 and F-5 data from Joint Engineering Data Management
Information and Control System (JEDMICS) obligates the requestor to:
1. Protect Northrop Grumman T-38 and F-5 data.
a. Do not release outside the Government, to include contractor(s) with a Government
Maintenance Contract without prior approval of an ALC repository or written approval by Northrop Grumman, nor may it be released without prior approval to any foreign government.
b. Release, disclosure or use of Northrop Grumman T-38 and F-5 data to a subsequent government individual or Government party is made subject to the receiving party’s acknowledgement that further release, disclosure or use of such data is prohibited.
2. Restrict quantities produced by Local Manufacture.
a. Northrop Grumman T-38 and F-5 data may be used for local manufacture only in the event of a line stoppage, emergency repair or overhaul.
b. The local manufacture access is restricted to a number sufficient to eliminate line stoppage or complete repairs or overhaul.
3. Destroy all Northrop Grumman’s T-38 and F-5 data generated from JEDMICS by shredding or cutting once its intended use is concluded.
4. Contact AFLCMC/LZPEF, Engineering Data Request Desk, DSN 777-6228 or commercial (801)
777-6228 for Certification of use of Northrop Grumman T-38 Engineering Data for Re-procurement Purposes. Data used for replenishment of spares requires special certification and handling procedures. Release of such data without proper certification is contrary to the terms of the agreement between the Government and The Northrop Grumman Systems Corp and may result in the loss of access to JEDMICS.
This certification serves as your acknowledgement and understanding of the responsibilities outlined above.
