NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

A SINGLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER

AGENCY Name:Peace Corps, Office of the Chief Financial Officer/Acquisition and Contract Management
ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER:1145PC20RFI0053-1

The Peace Corps, Office of the Chief Financial Officer/Acquisition and Contract Management, hereby submits a notice of intent to award a single source purchase order to California State University – Long Beach, 6300 State University Drive, Long Beach, CA 90815 for Professional Recruitment Services. The University provides campus recruitment services during the academic year in support of Peace Corps’ National Recruitment Strategy. The period of performance for this effort will be 12 months.

The procurement will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106(b), Soliciting from a single source, and using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR Part 13. The Peace Corps anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561312.

Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Peace Corps strategic recruitment efforts.

The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.

This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. A solicitation is not available.

Responses to this Notice shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. ET on June 8, 2020 to the Contracting Officer, Tiffany Wilson, at twilson@peacecorps.gov via e-mail only (no phone calls/voice mail messages regarding questions will not be accepted and will not receive a response). Please indicate in the subject of your email: Notice of Intent Question Submission - TBD.
