Requesting Activity: J6 for TMD Emergency Communications
If needed continue on a separate piece of paper: Renewing Mutualink network access and support, previously purchased/renewed on W912L1-20-P-0157. The support is required to enhance collaboration, command and control, data interoperability, and inter-operable communications during emergencies between TMD Operations Centers, TMD Inter-operable Communication Packages (TICPs), and numerous Federal, state, and local agencies.

Current access/support expires 17 Sep 2022. New POP should be 18 Sep 2022 ~ 17 Sep 2023.

If needed continue on a separate piece of paper_2: Mutualink provides the capability to seamlessly send/receive multiple forms of traffic amongst cell phones, tablets, radios, video feeds, and computers owned by federal, state, and local partners to/from TMD resources during emergency and disaster situations.
If needed continue on a separate piece of paper_3: The statutory authority for this action is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The particular brand name, product or feature is essential to the Government's requirements. .
If needed continue on a separate piece of paper_4: The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) utilizes Mutualink to accomplish data interoperability and seamless inter-operable communications. TxDPS is the state agency that TMD predominantly partners with during emergencies. The acquisition and utilization of Mutualink is rapidly increasing across multiple Federal, State, and Local authorities throughout Texas (i.e. Harris County, Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, Customs and Border Patrol, College Station, Houston, Texas City, Galveston, etc.). Failure to renew Mutualink access and support will result in degraded inter-operable communications with State and Local partners during an emergency or disaster.
