Section D: Efforts to Obtain Competition
Currently the are actively involved in research for other viable SUAS platforms. Mission requirements are a major concern when selecting an SUAS platform. Other platforms such as the do not have the all-around versatility to perform the wide array of tasks (i.e. weather limitations, camera resolution, flight time / range) that the require. The Contracting Officer anticipates determining the price fair and reasonable based on competitive quotes received.
