STATEMENT OF WORK

For BLDG 11291 Delivery and Installation of Cubicle Furniture

1.0 SCOPE:

1.1 Objective of this statement of work (SOW) is for delivery and installation of cubicle furniture for the Curriculum Development and Education section.

1.2 Background: The cubicle furniture and work stations will be delivered and installed at BLDG 11291, Fort Bliss, TX.

2.0 DEFINITIONS AND APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS:

2.1 The new cubicles and work stations to be purchased through this contract will be delivered, and installed at BLDG 11291, respectively. Any deviations of suggested installation will not be allowed as to maintain compliancy with Fire and Safety regulations. The cubicles and work stations processed through this contract will be carried out precisely and specific repairs, if any, will be corrected as directed by the designated COR. The Contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, support equipment, and services necessary to connect, transport, install, perform the inspection, repair, receipt, control, and return actions for all cubicles and work stations. Repairs means replacement of damaged or missing parts during any part of the delivery and connection of cubicles and work stations other than the items identified in Sections 2.1 above, will be at the contractor’s expense.

2.2 The contractor must be knowledgeable of the installation, with respect to design drawings, fabric samples, colors for approval and placement of order.

2.3 Contracting Officer (KO) – The Government official responsible for the execution and administration of the contract on behalf of the Government.

2.4 Contracting Officer’s Representative – The Government official designated in writing by the KO and responsible for performance monitoring and quality assurance on behalf of the Government.

2.5 Contractor’s Representative – An individual assigned by the Contractor who shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters that relate to the contract. The Contractor’s Representative shall be a single point of contact for all functional, technical, and contract-related services.

2.6 The Contractor shall provide documentation to the Contracting Officer that evidences the certification and training of technicians.

2.7 Quality Control – Actions taken by the Contractor to control the supplies and services to ensure that they conform to the performance requirements and standards.

2.8 Quality Assurance – Surveillance undertaken by the Government to ensure that services provided by the Contractor are within the acceptable quality level for a given performance requirement, and for the assessment of the Contractor’s quality control.

2.9 Rework- Performance by the Contractor to correct the defects of the any nature will result as its own expense and without additional reimbursement by the Government.

2.10 The COR shall track all labor, installation etc. of the equipment and shall inform the KO as to the QA issues.

3.1 INSPECTION AND TESTING: The Contractor shall inspect and test, as appropriate, the installed items for damage, leaks, cleanliness, general condition, and to clean, replace or refill as appropriate.

3.2 SERVICES: The Contractor shall:

3.2.1 Deliver Furniture

3.2.2 Install Furniture

3.2.3 Remove Packaging

3.2.4 Provide all keys and master keys upon completion of installation

3.6 UNSCHEDULED REPLACMENT OF DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS:

3.6.1 Will be in accordance with existing warranty

3.7 WARRANTY: The Contractor shall warrant the completed work and replacement parts as suggested by the manufacturer. Any parts becoming defective within the applicable warranty period shall be replaced at no cost to the Government.
