Project Description

In general, the Work consists of furnishing and installing a complete, turnkey audiovisual and control system for the Solano Hall FIT Studio, Room 1201. The system will integrate the existing 75-inch display and Mac mini with a PTZ camera, two ceiling array microphones, digital signal processing, amplification, four pendant speakers, a wall-mounted touchpanel, control processing, controllable USB switching, and all required cabling, connectors, plates, adapters, mounting hardware, programming, and ancillary materials.

The Contractor shall provide engineering and submittals; equipment procurement; installation and termination;

system configuration and programming; testing and calibration; acceptance demonstrations; as-built documentation and source files; staff training; cleanup; and a minimum one-year warranty. Equipment substitutions or material changes to the room design require prior written approval from the Owner's Representative.

Scope Boundaries and CSUCI Work (See SOW for further details)

• The Work is limited to Room 1201 and the directly associated audiovisual, signal, control, USB, network, and power connections required for the listed system.

• The building is not under renovation, and no existing audiovisual equipment is included for removal, disposal, or repurposing.

• CSUCI Facilities will complete conduit and wireways in advance and will install the PTZ camera mount.

The Contractor shall coordinate the mounting interface and install, aim, configure, and test the camera after the mount is ready.

• Campus network-connected devices shall use CSUCI house switching. A dedicated switch may be used only for internal room communication that does not connect to the campus network.
