FAR 52.237-1 SITE VISIT (APR 1984)

Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

(End of provision) Offerors are encouraged to attend the site visit. The purpose of the site visit is for interested Offerors is to familiarize themselves with the tasks at hand, verify all measurements, and to ensure complete understanding of the requirement by all parties. The site visit will be conducted for all interested Offerors at 10:00 am (EST) on Monday August 10, 2015.

Interested vendors who are confirmed for the visit shall meet at the BEP Eastern Currency Facility, 14th and C Street, SW, Washington, DC 20228. Offerors shall use the 14th Street entrance and arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the site visit. The 14th Street entrance is across the street from the Holocaust Museum and next to the parking lot. The site visit will begin promptly at 10:00 am.

Note: Parking will be not be provided for this site visit. There are a parking lot near the 14th Street entrance ($15) and a parking garage located across the street from the 13th Street entrance ($22).

All interested vendors attending the site visit will need to forward their first and last name and company information to Gladys Wilks via e-mail to gladys.wilks@bep.gov no later than 5:00 pm EST Friday, August 7, 2015.
