Benchmark_2025_Sole_Source.pdf

This is a sole source letter from Benchmark Education Company confirming its exclusive provider status for the State of Florida. The letter, dated January 1, 2025, and signed by President Tom Reycraft, establishes that Benchmark Education Company is the sole source for all products and programs listed in their sales literature and 2025 catalog, with limited exceptions for trade books and PD Essentials. The company is identified as the original creator and copyright holder of all materials, except for fiction titles in the Reading Explorers programs and Classroom Connections Skill Bags. Benchmark Education Company also serves as the exclusive provider of professional development services as described in their sales materials. The letter confirms that Benchmark Education and its sales representatives are the sole authorized source for all products on the attached quote.

The sole source designation supports the procurement of standards-based, fully blended curriculum courses designed to meet student needs in Florida. This letter serves as the foundational justification for the state to proceed with a non-competitive procurement directly with Benchmark Education Company, eliminating the need for competitive bidding and establishing the vendor as the only qualified source for the specified educational products and services.
