Project: Hazard Tree SOP PEPC Project Number: 81122 Description of Action (Project Description):
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) establishes procedures for identification and removal of trees that are deemed hazardous and place people or property at risk of injury. A hazardous tree is defined as one which has a structural defect that predisposes it to failure and as such puts people or property at risk of injury.
Project Locations:
Location 1 County: Prince William State: VA
Location 2 County: Stafford State: VA
CE Citation: C.3 Routine maintenance and repairs to non-historic structures, facilities, utilities, grounds and trails.
Decision: I find that the action fits within the categorical exclusion above. Therefore, I am categorically excluding the described project from further NEPA analysis. No extraordinary circumstances apply.
