Specifications - Statement of Need

Skid Steer Compact Loader

General

Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park is in need of skid steer compact loader in order to perform essential maintenance operations within the park while limiting operating costs. The equipment must be FOB to: 291 Second and Broadway, Skagway, AK 99840.

The size and versatility of a skid steer compact loader makes it an ideal tool for the construction and maintenance of trails in the Dyea Area Management Unit as well as the Skagway Historic

District. With a long list of available attachments and compact trail size, a skid steer can be used for a large range of maintenance activities including but not limited to movement of loose and palatized materials, excavation, and snow removal.
