Sports Program for Summer/Fall/Spring Isleta Elementary School
Scope of Work:
Goal Isleta Elementary School is need of a sports program that will enhance the educational experience and serve the whole child’s wellness and health development. The goal of the sports program is to introduce and encourage physical education through the development of structured team sports such as:
Flag football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and field, and swimming.
Social Emotional Learning The sports program should also include Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) that models’ social justice, and includes the Five Levels of Responsibility in the TPSR model:
1. Respect for the rights and feelings of others
2. Self-motivation: effort and cooperation
3. Self-direction and being on- task
4. Caring: helping others and leadership
5. Beyond the field
Place of Performance BIE Isleta Elementary School 1000 Moon Light Dr Albuquerque, NM 87105
Duration:
Will coordinate with Contractor regarding Fall/Spring and Summer duration, prior to scheduled session.
01 Summer 2024:
Four (4) weeks (Monday to Friday)
• June 17 to June 28
• July 8 to July 19
Timing: One hour morning and afternoon session: for example,
• 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
02 Fall/Spring 2024 Thirty-six (36) weeks (Monday to Friday)
• August to May Timing: One hour After School
• 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM
Age Group:
Elementary school students (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
Equipment:
Provided by the Sport program with an option to purchase.
Instructors:
• Certified coaches and instructors with experience in teaching children's sports programs
• Background-checked
• staff trained in child safety protocols
• First aid certified with kits readily available on-site
