About this file

This document outlines the salient characteristics for a solicitation from the Department of the Interior US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants. The solicitation seeks one Trimble SX12 Total Station and Three-Dimensional Scanner System or equal to meet the specified minimum requirements. Key requirements include angle measurement accuracy of 1 second, automatic leveling compensator of 0.5 seconds, prism mode accuracy of 1 mm (+1.5 ppm), and prism constant of +2 mm. The system must be able to lock onto and automatically track a standard survey prism, operate on internal rechargeable batteries, and have an 8 MP telescope. It must include a compatible controller with multi-touch display, internal battery, WiFi connectivity, front and rear cameras, and Windows 10 operating system. The solicitation also specifies operating ranges, warranty and support requirements, and compatible accessories such as a tripod, bipod, and prism pole.
