***UPDATED***Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), MWR NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a solicitation for elevator modernization and electrical component upgrade services at the Minuteman Missile Silo, Delta-01 Launch Facility, Philip, South Dakota. The government will use a competitive Request for Quotes, FAR Part 13 process. The solicitation number will be 140P6321Q0035. The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price, services contract in response to this RFQ.
Project Description: The work includes all materials to complete the elevator modernization and electrical component replacement services Period of Performance: The Period of Performance for this work is 50 calendar days. The anticipated performance start date is Jun 21, 2021. The final performance period start date may be slightly adjusted dependent on the final award process and dates and park schedules.
This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electrical) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $8 million.
The government intends to issue a formal Solicitation with specifications on or about May 13, 2021. If this date is delayed, the solicitation will follow as soon as possible. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 21 days after the RFQ issue date and it is anticipated that the quotes will be due approximately June 3, 2021. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.
A pre-quote site visit may be scheduled with the park, details will be announced in the solicitation.
The RFQ package, including applicable specifications will be posted to https://beta.sam.gov. No hardcopies or email copies will be provided. Offerors must have a DUNS number and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) System for Award Management (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
