PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

Wild Horse & Burro Horse Trailers

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a solicitation for the Wild Horse & Burro Program (WH&B). The acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Solicitation No.: 140L0123Q0032.

Project Description: Purchase 2 horse trailer to support the Wild Horse & Burro program.

Complete specifications will be provided when the solicitation is posted.

Contract Type: BLM anticipates a solicitation that results in a firm fixed priced purchase order contract.

Set Aside: This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns.

The primary NAICS code is 336212, Truck Trailer Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.

The government intends to issue a formal Solicitation on or about 8/4/2023. If this date is delayed, the solicitation will follow as soon as possible. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 14 days after the RFQ issue date. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.

No hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation will be provided. Offerors must have a UEI number and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
