THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service (NPS), Washington Contracting Office (WCO), in support of the National Park Service (NPS), Resource Information Services Division, announces its intention to procure on a competitive basis, a purchase order contract for GNSS high precision geodetic survey systems
The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain GNSS high precision geodetic survey systems (quantity 18) to support NPS operations. These systems will be able to acquire positional information to centimeter precision, create highly accurate topography using both terrestrial Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) and industry standard GNSS survey techniques providing valuable positioning for boundary surveys, infrastructure projects and real-time mapping workflows in National Parks. These devices and software will be fully compatible with existing NPS Trimble survey hardware systems that require enterprise-wide processing software.
This resultant award will be a single award contract. The period of performance will include a 90 days ARO for 1st Shipment and all devices must be received by December 31, 2021, with all training courses being completed by June 30, 2022.
The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Quote Technical Acceptable basis utilizing price and non-price factors.
The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside as a request for proposal, using NAICS 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing (Size Standard 1,250).
The solicitation documents will be issued on or about the week of June 7, 2021 and will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/.
This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
