Pre-Solicitation Synopsis Abernathy Fish Technology Center Construct and Install Intake Structure Improvements, Fish Ladder Structure Improvements and All Associated Appurtenances

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Contracting and General Services (CGS) Region 1 has been tasked to solicit for Abernathy Fish Technology Center, 1440 Abernathy Creek Road, Longview, WA. The rehabilitation of existing hatchery intake structure which involves three main components, the diversion, adult fish ladder and demo of the existing included screen structure.

Pre-Demolition and Pre-Construction Permitting. Development, Preparation, and Submittal of Remaining Permit Applications and Supporting Documents to the Permit Agencies / Permit Authorities for Review and Approval / Disapproval and Follow-up Inspections for In-Progress and Completed Work. Contractor shall be responsible for Identification of Remaining Permits through a Permit Registry. After identifying Remaining Permits, the Contractor shall apply for, Pay, and Secure Remaining Permits to result in successful project delivery.

Contractors shall be experienced and have demonstrated positive past performance with Construction and Installation of Intake Structure Infrastructure Modifications, Rehabilitations, Restorations, and Repairs, and Design and Construction / Installation of Intake Structure. Contractors shall demonstrate extensive knowledge, ability, and skill in Design and Construction of New and Modified Intake Structure Projects. Contractors shall demonstrate knowledge of All Relevant State and Federal Laws, Codes, Regulations, Standards, and Provisions. Furthermore, Contractors shall demonstrate extensive experience applying this knowledge in Construction.

Site Visit: For firms interested in attending a site visit, will be addressed during solicitation.

All construction related work is located in or around Abernathy Fish Technology Center, near Longview, Washington. Work on the project can begin after Notice to Proceed is given. Construction work can begin after the construction documents have been fully reviewed and approved.

The proposed period of performance is To Be Determined (TBD) at time of award.

Interested contractors must be registered in the SAM.gov and complete Online Representations and at http://sam.gov.
