STATEMENT OF WORK
AIRCRAFT TOW SIMULATOR
Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall provide delivery and installation along with all training necessary for effective operation of the simulator.
Upon delivery, one (1) Aircraft Tow Simulator shall be provided to USAF-Fairchild 92 MXG/MXOT located at building 2120B room 114 Fairchild AFB, WA with all purchased hardware and software installed. An L3Harris representative will arrive upon equipment arrival and will stay in the local area for a week, five
(5) to seven (7) days, depending on day of the week the equipment arrives.
Delivery of the system shall include but is not limited to the following actions:
• Meeting delivery truck on site and verifying shipping contents
• Handling of all equipment from the delivery truck to its best determined location inside our VR training room
• Conducting a site acceptance test to ensure safe installation
• Installing simulator and Instructor/Operator Station
• Positioning equipment and running associated cables/wiring
The training provided by the contractor shall include but is not limited to the following:
• A basic operations course
• A maintenance course
• A train-the-trainer course for up to four (4) students for three days, totaling 12 instructors qualified to train students on the Tow Simulator
• Effective simulation training
• Integration of the simulator into the training plan
• Keyboard controls
• Loading scenarios
• Scenario building
• Vehicle types
The use of equipment will be limited to the towing simulation only.
HOURS OF OPERATION: MXOTM POC will meet L3Harris representative upon equipment arrival. The representative will begin equipment installation following manufacturers’ standards. The following four (four) days will consist of a general use/maintenance course as well as the train-the-trainer course during normal duty hours (Monday - Friday, 0800 – 1500).
