• EVALUTION FACTORS

Brand name or equal to GH3+ model motor/hoist for existing GH2 rail system

1. Technical

• Contractor must provide documentation showing the ability to provide equipment listed in accordance with specifications listed in the salient characteristics within the SOW.

Contractor must include product specifications and brochure information.

• Contractor must provide documentation indicating that the company will take full liability for the entire rail system, connection and supports to the building structure, and motor/hoist.

• Contractor must provide documentation indicating the ability to provide 10-year warranty which includes all parts, labor, and batteries for repairs, Annual Preventative Maintenance and Annual Weight Testing using VHA Patient Safety Alert AL14-07 certification form.

2. PAST PERFORMANCE:

• Contractor shall provide at least three past performance reports of positive feedback from motor/hoist replacement.

• Contractors will provide three years of references indicating prior satisfactory services for installations of brand name or equal to GH3+ motor/hoist installation and weight testing of system.

• Must provide proof of ongoing service quality and consistent management, including failure reports and any other applicable documentation, to be presented with the bid.

EVALUATION – COMMERCIAL ITEMS.

• The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the

Government, price and other factors considered.

• The technical and past performance evaluation factors will be rated more significantly and more important than cost or price in the evaluation of the final bids that will be received.

• The award of the contract will be awarded to the offeror whose bid is considered to be the

“best value” and the most advantageous to the Government.
