Statement of Work
1.0 OVERVIEW
The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) is a wholly owned U.S.
Government corporation within the U.S. Department of Transportation which owns and operates that portion of the St. Lawrence Seaway in U.S. territorial waters between Lake Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. GLS’s mission is to facilitate the safe and efficient passage of commercial vessels through the Seaway which includes maintenance, repair and/or replacement of structures and facilities.
2.0 SCOPE
The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) has a requirement to purchase a new machine lathe for the GLS Machine Shop located at 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662. The machine lathe shall meet or exceed the following specifications:

- The awarded vendor shall submit hard copy and PDF operation and maintenance manuals at the time of the delivery of the lathe. This shall include operating and maintenance instructions, installation plan, electrical component list, mechanical schematics, and mechanical component list.
- The awarded vendor shall deliver the machine lathe and accessories to GLS Receiving Warehouse; 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662. GLS has limited receiving hours during weekdays and is closed on the weekends and all Federal Holidays. GLS has limited forklift and crane capability to unload deliveries, therefore the awarded vendor must coordinate deliveries at least two weeks prior to delivery and coordinate logistics of unloading materials if requesting GLS support to unload them.
