SECTION 1.0 INTRODUCTION:
Assault Craft Unit TWO (ACU- 2) requires sheet metal fabrication services for Landing Craft Utility (LCU)-1645 doors.
SECTION 2.0 OBJECTIVES:
ACU-2 requires sheet metal fabrication services for (5) 26 X 66 metal joiner doors, sliding type C for LCU-1645

SECTION 4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
(1 DEC 2024 – 1 APR 2025)
SECTION 5.0 SCOPE OF WORK:
5.1 Fabricate four (4) 26 X 66 left hand type C sliding door assemblies listed as Item 18 of reference 3.2 . Doors shall be fabricated from aluminum. Door panel and frame shall be welded construction. Frame shall be fabricated to rivet in place. Door shall be fully coated and assembled with handles, latches and locks as per reference 3.3 prior to delivery.
5.1.1 Powder coat door assemblies FED STD 595 Medium Gray 26380.
5.2 Fabricate one (1) 26 X 66 right hand type C sliding door assembly listed as Item 20 on reference 3.2 . Door shall be fabricated from aluminum. Door panel and frame shall be welded construction. Frame shall be fabricated to rivet in place. Door shall be fully coated and assembled with handles, latches and locks as per reference 3.3 prior to delivery.
5.2.1 Powder coat door assemblies Navy haze gray, FED STD 595 Medium Gray 26380
5.3 Navy will pick up the completed door assemblies at the contractor’s facility.
SECTION 6.0 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

SECTION 7.0 CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS:
Contractor personnel shall be available for meetings at the Government and Contractor’s facilities, as required, throughout the performance of this task. The TPOC shall give notice before meetings.
