This document provides instructions for engraving and marking Snap-On toolboxes and tools required by Minot Air Force Base. Fifteen Snap-On toolboxes numbered VMITK045 through VMITK059 will be laser etched with their assigned numbers. All tools within each toolbox will be laser etched with the toolbox number and inserted into laser-cut foam trays with alternating black and red colors to facilitate organization and identification of any missing tools. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number FA4528-21-Q-KM04 issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command to procure the Snap-On toolboxes and tools for Minot Air Force Base as identified in attachment 1. Review of attachment 3 is required for the specific engraving and marking instructions to be followed.

Details for Engraving and Marking
Each of the 15 tool boxes will be assigned the following numbers.

All tools within each box will be required to be laser etched with the tool box number.
All tools within each box will be required to be inlaid in laser cut foam with offsetting colors.
Black on top, red on bottom. This will help keep tools organized and also clearly indicate if a tool is missing.
