Statement of Work

26 January 2024

Project Title: Installation and Operation of Laser Engraver at Arts and Craft Center

1. Introduction This statement of work (SOW) outlines the requirements, scope, and deliverables for the installation and operation of a laser engraver at the Arts and Craft Center. The laser engraver shall be equipped with specific features and capabilities to meet the needs of the center's artistic and craft-related projects and have a delivery of 30 calendar days after contract award.

2. Objective The objective of this project is to procure, install, and commission two each laser engraver with the following specifications at the Arts and Craft Center:

- Preferred Model: Fusion PRO 24 (24" x 24") 60 watt CO2 Laser System or equal

- Work Area: 24″ x 24″ (610 x 610mm)

- Material Thickness: Up to 9″ (228 mm)

- Laser Tub Types: CO2 (air-cooled, metal/ceramic waveguide tube, 10.6 micrometers) and Fiber (air-cooled, includes collimator, 1065 nm, Beam quality: M2 < 1.1) with dual-source capability

- IRIS Camera System: 2 overhead cameras + registration

- Wireless Connectivity

- Resolution: Fully-flexible & user-controlled from 75 – 1200 dpi

- Internal Memory

- Air assist compressor

- Rim rotary attachment

- 1-year extended warranty

3. Scope of Work The scope of work includes the following activities:

A. Procurement

- Research and procurement of the specified laser engraver model meeting the provided specifications and features.

- Coordination with suppliers and manufacturers for the purchase and delivery of the laser engraver.

B. Installation

- Physical installation of the laser engraver at the designated location within the Arts and Craft Center.

- Calibration and testing of the laser engraver to ensure proper functionality and alignment.

C. Documentation

- Preparation of user manuals and operational guidelines specific to the installed laser engraver.

- Creation of safety protocols and guidelines for the use of the equipment within the center.

4. Deliverables Upon completion of the project, the following deliverables will be provided:

- Installed and operational laser engraver with the specified features and capabilities.

- Trained staff members capable of operating and maintaining the laser engraver.

- Comprehensive user manuals and operational guidelines.

- Safety protocols and guidelines specific to the use of the equipment within the Arts and Craft Center.

5. Approval This statement of work is subject to approval by the Arts and Craft Center management prior to the commencement of the project.
